This is my favourite thing in the life of an artist. Being able to see whole worlds in mundane things. I have a photo of a knife with residue after cutting cheese that would be a base for a cold, dark fantasy scene. I've designed monsters based on water splashes on shower door. I love these moments

Oh, this is lovely. Seeing a world in milk foam, or drawing the creatures that peek from knots of wood and oddly shaped clouds and cracks in the pavement. I really adore the essence of this piece 💜

thank you so much! i make lattes myself at home with an espresso machine and there’s always something to look at, even if it’s mostly abstract! i have more photos like this one, but usually there’s no time to make pictures out of them🙂 this could be a nice challenge though!
