50 States, 50 Capitols (50501) has organized 2 protests so far. Sparsely attended in Oregon, and mostly people older than 50yo- 2nd one had a few hundred more people. There is a call for no spending on 02/28. People seem to be either stunned, apathetic, or afraid of violent reprisal- or all 3.

I admire the French, they are professional protestors, there have been a few in the US (I managed to go to one) but it's going to take time for US citizens to truly get involved, and for many of them, they need to be directly hurt in their day to day lives, not vague 'retirement might suck'
