People are joking about how Canada should shut off power to US states during the Super Bowl and I don’t know… I kinda like that idea. Lol.

People in border states need to prepare because that’s totally a response to the “economic warfare” (Trump’s words) that is on the table in Canada. I’m surprised you haven’t heard. Your media in the U.S. is not great.

I have heard. I’m just disappointed that Canadians here are actively wishing harm on us. I don’t wish the same for Canadians. I hate Trump, don’t want him to do any of this, and am afraid for my family, for my community, and for the wider health of the world.

No one is wishing harm on you. The fastest way to reduce harm for all of us on both sides of the border is to escalate it and force an end. All Americans will suffer as well as this goes on. A lot of households won’t be able to eat. It’s not our responsibility to heat your homes.

It’s your politicians. They planned to use our power which is great! We had a trade agreement to do that. But when you rip up a trade agreement and declare literal economic warfare against another nation, you don’t get access to their resources anymore.
