Nice! I just gave that repo one star! I had no idea it existed. It is indeed very useful to have a centralized list because it does helps someone like me who is looking for that first opportunity to present at a conference.

you definitely should keep submitting! most conferences have some newcomer program and slots reserved for first-time speakers. Definitely Devoxx UK and JFall, from what I remember.

I will always keep trying. I did try JFall this year. It didn't went through. I am well aware though, of how difficult it is to get to a conference now. There is always a massive influx of applications and I know that it is a difficult process especially if committees do not know the candidates.
