The injuries and contract situation/length with him are the kicker. Ironically he's been the least clinical of all the forwards by a large margin this season.

I think it's telling Diaz hasn't got a new contract and I do think Nunez, as much as potential as he has, is never gonna be what Slot wants. I do wonder if the pathway for Rio involves Diaz being let go

I can see one of Jota or Nunez going maybe even both. Can’t see Diaz or Gakpo leaving. Barca don’t need Diaz with Raphinha balling and they still want Nico Williams long term.

Wouldn't be surprised personally, with Gakpo clearly seen as a LW, we only have 2 strikers. 1 is often injured and the other hasn't cemented a regular place. I wouldn't be that surprised if we wanted another at the right price.

likely Jota although i wouldn’t be surprised if we cashed in on Diaz whilst his value his at a high. Both are 28 n 29 next season so we’ll sell soon since we made that mistake in the last 5 yrs at not selling at the right time

Makes more sense to replace Jota with Marmoush tho than a winger/Nunez
