IMHO 🇺🇸 lost its moral authority after legal weasels made kidnap and torture legal under Bush and gave them names like rendition and enhanced interrogation. Invading the wrong country 🤷‍♂️ but there are lines that shouldn’t be crossed.

Like maybe some argument could be made that America 1 changed and we are in America 2 post 14th ammendment, still took what 40 years for universal suffrage, another 50 to kill Jim Crow and actually enable democracy all the while we killed a ton of people in the global south and Asia.
