You know trying to criminalize and take advantage of people in that situation is not a wise idea. Because if they ever rise up you have no evidence to go on you won't even be able to f****** identify them.
Oh, sorry, my bad - this is about U.S. Americans. You'd rather die in a tent with a needle in your arm than accept that socialism (read: social security, social welfare, sponsored housing, "free" healthcare, etc.) would solve these issues. Please forget I spoke up.
At present, Finland is ruled by a far right neoliberal austerity government cutting back pretty much all social services, including housing allowance, so that many people have already lost their homes. This piece of shit government is destroying everything that was good in Finland.
THANKS FOR THAT INFO. THEY'RE LISTED AS IN THE TOP 3 AS A WORKING DEMOCRACY WITH DENMARK AND NORWAY THE TOP 2. HONESTLY I HAVEN'T HEARD MUCH ABOUT FINLAND IN A LONG TIME!
Let's criminalize house hoarding (aka corporate land lords) these scum bags are making an already artificially scarce "market" (should never have been a market in the 1st place) and even more scarce market all because the filth thinks houses are an investment and not a basic necessity
They need to adopt the Finnish housing first. It took something impossible here. The different political parties got together and agreed on a solution. All because the mayor of Helsinki wanted to say enough is enough. Worked with other city leaders and boom problem solved.
No I'm fine with tent living being illegal. We should however, build each and every homeless person a tiny house. No one should be homeless in the richest country in the history of the planet!
Camping is a lot different than the actual trouble they cause. They are usually put in jail for hard drug charges, theft and assault. Nice try at glossing over the real problem which is the toxic people that inhabit the tents.
Here where out of state people come just to do drugs (Portland, Oregon)
Not at all. Mine is based on personal experience in my town. Come visit than criticize, but not before. This is my reality. Yours may be different, but bringing Elmo into this is uncalled for
The cause is toxic people and their life choices that led to burning every bridge so badly that no one will help them and choosing a life of drugs, violence and lawlessness. It’s 100% on them.
Economic inequality is defined as disparities in the distribution of wealth between individuals within a given society. Inequality of this sort has been found to be correlated with various undesirable outcomes, including crime
When you drive through rural Kentucky and West Virginia, there are vacant houses everywhere because everyone died of covid. I don’t understand why there can’t be a peg in hole type situation to help people.
Wait...really? I'm not doubting you...I just think thats horrific. was it just they didn't get vaxxed or was there a big wave there? I'm in western NY, so we had our share of Covid death wipe out entire nursing homes, churches, etc. I'm so sad to hear this. I didn't realize it hit that hard there
Tents are all cool and fun in the forest and meant as a form of temporary housing, but as soon as people see them pitched up in the city for the same purpose, it's an ugly sight. Interesting phenomenon
Do a Google of "medical debt bankruptcy homeless" and Google "homeless is a crime." Over 40% of bankruptsies are a direct result of medical debt. The death of one greedy ceo means nothing as another followed. Andrew Willy of uhc group said this will pass and he will continue doing the same thing.

Please imagine you are standing over a killer who had caused the deaths of thousands of people out of greed. You know for certain he will continue to do it for years to come. Nothing you can say will stop him. Is it morally permissible to kill that person? Morally imperative?

AMERICA HAS 28 EMPTY HOMES FOR EVERY #HOMELESS HERE. RUSSIA AND CHINA ARE BOTH ADDRESSING THE ISSUE AND HAVING GOOD LUCK! AFTER YEARS OF US PROPAGANDA I SEARCH FOR INFORMATION ABOUT OTHER COUNTRIES OUTSIDE THE US PROPAGANDA FILTERS!
I can’t help but think that criminalizing homelessness is part of some master plan to force homelessness people to work the jobs immigrants currently do.
WE DON'T KNOW BUT WE DO KNOW IMMIGRANTS AREN'T HURTING AMERICANS IN THE JOB PARTS. THERE ARE SO MANY FACTORS TO HOMELESSNESS & I KNOW GRANDMA & GRANDPA JOINED THE RANKS SINCE 2019.
