Yeah I agree with this. This would have been better. Same with about 20 different approaches. That's what I was trying to communicate, but didn't do effectively.

I believe It was intentional to make it clear more paying for cards and more time-gated cards are the future as part of a “more cards overall” philosophy.
I think their belief is (1) you can obtain all the cards you want in the archetypes that interest you & (2) their constant adjustments will ensure archetypes are generally competitive
The conflict arises bc the game has been much closer to you can obtain all the cards you want overall…
And the player base’s expectations have been set around that. That’s my situation. I don’t want to play a game I can’t explore fully. That’s why I play Snap. If it changes so that’s no longer the case I’ll no longer play
