Gut feelings only but a) not quite enough momentum to hit critical mass b) vast majority of “official” accounts haven’t transferred over (which sucks and total moral failing on their part) c) way too many people posting “so glad I’m here and not on the nazi place anymore” rather than actual content

Yeah that last part might be really key. Is it too much of an echo chamber so nobody bothers saying anything at all because we're all decent people and we just know that decent statements will be silently agreed with?

This place could do with a bit more friction I agree. You can have disagreements without it spiralling into slurs. Nothing wrong with robust debate.
