The government equivalent of firing half the staff and then having an employee pizza party.

Giving candy to give to people losing their jobs, really? I guess that’s to be expected when sociopaths are in charge but Jesus Christ…

The candy was for the people forced to come back to the office.

My mistake. It’s less sociopathic and more just super tone deaf.

They were there to remind the staff who was in charge and that they had better learn to keep their mouth shut and do what they are told.
