So, Croatia - we used to be part of Yugoslavia, and I grew up in a very strongly antifa family (my grandpa was in the WWII, wounded twice), but also during the time of insane indoctrination with less-positive aspects of the socialist society.
So, going to school in the eighties, we were taught that Tito was perfect (of course he was not, because NOBODY fucking is), we read the insane stories from his childhood etc. And we also knew the story of Tito's perfect German Shepherd Luks (sometimes also called Reks)

However, what I did not know was that Hitler also had a German Shepherd. I have no idea why I missed that piece of info, especially since I'd adored Germies since I was born (I still do. I think they're the perfect dog)
