And what about “Remove from microwave after 2 minutes. Stir. *Recover* and replace for another 2 and a half minutes.”? I mean it’s nice that they’re concerned about my wellbeing, but I don’t really need recovery time for simply removing something from the microwave.

To be fair I once lost an entire bolognese to a botched microwave removal incident. My recovery time was a good 24 hours.
