I had ADHD meds and they made things worse but I'm only one example of a weird anomaly.... With the right friends and the right treatment and counseling and planning, you can actually go pretty far without medications, but sometimes you do need the meds and not everyone is the same.

I went 35 years without meds. Having meds has been life changing. I don’t want to go back to living in a fog. No amount of counseling or treatment or the right friends will lift that fog. Trust me, I tried it all.
