I'm 70 years old and driving two hours on April 5th to be seen and make my voice heard. (Plus I have a really offensive sign I want to show off.) If I can do it, you can, too. Or if you really, really can't, at least make calls and send emails. Bury them!
If you can, still try to call them daily. Make your voice and concerns be heard.
Also, it's ok to call and leave messages, so you don't have to listen to their staffers lecture you. (I am bad with phone calls, so I leave messages at night)
This is so very true. When I first got on BlueSky, I had low expectations and mostly I wanted to find a way to connect with protests. But I quickly discovered how comforting it is to hear people celebrate democracy and fight for it. It has helped me get through these awful times and find strength
