What a powerful and devastating depiction of dementia — often I feel like Patrick Stewart is on another level acting-wise, but Sarek KEPT UP. The two of them together felt like it was transcending the campiness of the show (which I adore) to make something truly stunning

Listen. I expected to hate this episode. The name is cringe, it has Troi obnoxious mom and horny Ferengi being slimy incels. But holy heck I loved it. Deanna was SO FUNNY! The “head smack” into Riker’s chest when she hears her mom??? Relatable.

Apologies if you already knew this, but I truly love that she's played by Majel Barrett, who was also Nurse Chapel in the original series, married to Gene Roddenberry, and was also the voice of the computers too!

She did an amazing job as Lwaxana, and enjoy the hell out her diving into the role.

Her being telepathic adds many layers to this. Is she continuing while knowing he's not into her just to see him flustered? Is he really into her and won't admit it but she knows because she can read his mind?🤷
