I loathe to recommend Microsoft, but OneNote is actually pretty perfect, particularly for TTRPG (doesn't work as well on non-Windows, though). I've heard that Obsidian is better, but it takes a lot of work to set up and maintain.
I use Obsidian for my Star Trek stuff and a few other things (including my fanfic, lol) so I will probably try to use that for all the stuff I have in Notion, it's just a *hassle* to move it over (and it doesn't have all the same functionality by default, but I think you can add things)
I get annoyed with all the word processing and note taking tools as I feel like there are basic features it'd be super easy to add, but they don't bother as they can't figure out how to monetise it, so you either get stuff that just doesn't work or they try to rip you off.
?!?
Notion is like, the main tool I use, day after day. Speaking as a fellow neurodivergent, the ease with which I can just ... unshelve my thoughts there, and know that it'll keep them semi-tidy until I'm ready to come back to that ... it's one of the main things that lets me regulate my focus.
It's great because if I DO end up dropping into infodump mode, I can go pages deep, easily drop in pics, spreadsheets, whatever.
So I can leave a to-do there, and get back to what I need to be doing, 'cause it'll be there when it's time. Or when the urge strikes, it's also my hyperfocus buddy.
Yeah, I used it a ton, except I hit 1000 blocks and now they’re holding everything random unless I give them $24/month until I die. And so, I hate. Love wikis. Hate Notion.
I literally deleted this and reposted it to correct “random” to “ransom” but it changed it back again. I stg the Luddites were right. Let’s smash some tech.
I’m Canadian, and it’s $12 each, and I have to pay for myself as a member, hence $24/month. Also, theres no easy way to me to unshare things I already share without deleting it.

And when I've paid to put an assistant on my wiki, it was only 8$/seat.
So ... I guess you've got a team of 3 you need to share with?
But I guess that's what I ended up doing.
'pologies.
