100%. It’s resulted in me being a better parent, pastor, and teacher because I can easily own my shit and work on doing better, and my kids respect me *more* for it and own *their* shit more readily, too.

Start saying you were wrong and apologizing to children so casually they take it for granted. Yours, family, friends, kids in the community. If you have relationships with children you need to be apologizing when you’re wrong easily, loudly, and without prompting.
