I'm a New Mexican and I'm so proud of Deb Haaland!!! I was proud to vote for her for Congress a few years back (and proud when she showed up to a local food bank event shortly after her election), proud of her efforts as Secretary of the Interior, and I look forward to voting for her as Governor.

Native Americans fought each other over territory all the time. They would have displaced others on their way to what is now the US. The "they were here first" arguement means nothing.
