"Here is the account of the day, from βMore New Hampshire Folk Tales,β by Eva Augusta Speare."
Not quite getting my indigenous vote ...
Pretty sure no tribes herded whole tribes off cliffs
That article is there because it lists a bunch of massacres.
I bet the tribes did, they didn't hesitate to herd buffaloes off cliffs. Hawaiians herded other Hawaiians off the cliffs in the thousands if you know history.
No I don't. I have to ask you for evidence, thank you

The British herded Aborigines off cliffs, and stole their children (as happened in Canada and USA),. Always easy to come up with negatives.
It's actually step two of Russian brain washing "In what way is your country not perfect?"
...a series of attacks...Piscataqua region in the late [1600s], including the Cocheco Massacre at Dover Point (1689), the Salmon Falls Raid at South Berwick (1690), and attacks at Sandy Beach (1691), York (1692), Oyster River (1694) and Portsmouth Plains (1696).
And Mark Twain even wrote about the atrocities of barbaric Indian attacks in the Great Plains, and there are books about it.
The native Americans ended up suffering the most and being pushed to reservations, having treaties breached, it's a messy history. The Trail of Tears is gruesome.
Mark: his father, a lawyer called to the bar in Kentucky
Not what I (UK) would term as working class
A Kestrel for a Knave, English working class author Barry Hines, 1968.
I suspect you began working class novels in the 60's, same as us
US Indian history has plenty of drugs (peyote, etc.), crime, and violence. The inter-tribal warfares were brutal. Read some history on the Great Plains about Native American rapes, tortures. Remember scalping?
Not a good choice of comparison, even though I am anti-Felon and pro native Americans.

Dripping with irony, I saw it the day Trump stood in front of it years ago, and touted his desire that his face should be there too.
