Step 1: “Report by the country’s online safety regulator”, just putting it out there.
Step 2: Make MyID mantatory for basic things.
Step 3: All logins to social media from Australia require federated login with MyID. Social media companies do not get access to all data.

here's the thing, kids will get around the ban, but now be MUCH less willing to talk to an adult about anything going on on-line that makes them feel uncomfortable or unsafe.

we could try open and frank conversations? nah too much work.
