We are hearing more about the small planes because there were a couple larger ones, so now people care more about hearing about all the plane crashes. While one or two plane crashes being tied to Mump's assery in slashing the FAA is entirely too many, most we hear about have nothing to do with that.
This one, for example, was (according to someone in aviation circles in Lancaster) likely due to a minor malfunction triggering an overreaction by the pilot.
