100% agree. I worry, though, that the mass action needed exceeds (in scale & duration) anything AAUP has yet proposed. And it can only be coordinated nationally; discrete local actions aren't enough. Either the Trump admin ends or higher ed as we know it does. Our action & demands must reflect this.

maybe start by checking in with Prof Shane Farritor of U Nebraska, father of DOGE boy Luke Farritor. Luke is a key player, on the front lines, accessing and processing data to enable and also hide indiscriminate cuts with machine learning models and methods. Is Shane a member of AAUP?

We need your support desperately. Vietnam War protests started with organizing and protest marches by college professors and students. This activity resulted in 15 million people - including 250,000 in D.C. - marching to demand an end to the war.
