Whenever I feel sad about Silksong (or Beyond Good and Evil 2), I remember E3 2015, when The Last Guardian and Shenmue 3 were revealed. The Shenmue series hadn't had a release in over a decade and was a complete surprise. The Last Guardian was revealed in 2009 and then we had radio silence for years

And of course there was the long rumored FFVII Remake, too. Some games take longer to cook, and I'd rather know that the team put in the time and effort to make it "perfect" instead of getting a game that is a shadow of what the developers envisioned/dreamed. Silence in that time is fine.

I just hope it happens someday lol. My concern at this point isn't "Grrr how dare they disrespect us with no updates" like other people somehow, just "Wow, still nothing? Getting kinda worried something's gone wrong."

I’m just glad that they gave some confirmation that they’re still at work on it. I’ve been pretty patient for this long already, so I’m content with waiting as long as I need to.

…A shadowdrop would be pretty rad, though.
