As a purely "social" user I haven't seen the need to logon to Twitter since July
BS seems pretty good, even for US stuff
It maybe doesn't "update" as fast - but in a way that's OK because you get less addicted to the endless scrolling that promotes, so feels less stressful
Numbers have increased a lot in the last month. You do need to follow quite a few accounts for a full timeline, but I haven’t had a problem with that. Quite a few reporters here.
Yeah but the big difference here is that the porn and disinformation bots and unwanted adverts , aren’t being pushed into your timeline and threads by the app algorithm as they are on shitter
BlueSky for me mentally has been a much healthier place than Twitter, and if anything I prefer the smaller numbers. Makes it feel like a more 'homely' sort of place.

Think of The Mall of America combined with The Dallas Cowboys stadium and a gun range sponsored by Kid Rock.
Where would you want to be?
Also, if the orange one wins, and Musk gets even more power, I think there will be a mass migration here.
I'm never going back to twitter though because bsky's quality outweighs twitter's scale.
