You are kidding right? He was working hand in hand with Lewis as CEO to ensure team Wales had the vast majority of the resources available. Add to that refusing to release players, either who were not used or when int blocks had ended, back to clubs. His mitts are all over the problems we see now.

I was Roger Lewis’ PT a decade ago and Gatland did nothing more than any international coach would do to maximise his teams success. It’s not his job to control purse strings.

A purse that was mostly empty due to the where are you refusing to pay adequately for player release. Gatland had a duty to the whole game in Wales not just the national side. If you disagree, fine. But the facts are there for all to see.

Gatland was the coach of the National side.
Roger Lewis was the CEO of the WRU. Very clear where responsibilities started and ended. But yep, agree to disagree 🙂
