Still amazed Fromsoft was contracted to make what was essentially an Oblivion clone for the PS3. Shuhei Yoshida said some pretty hasty and crappy things about the finished game, which he should be embarrassed about in retrospect. Comments like that earn you a negative perception with talented folks.

not malicious at all imo, more like a strategy for more clicks. the reception of the remake among some (vocal) From Software fans was really bad, so an insight on that game, from the perspective of one of Sony's ex-high ups, would make people click more.

this isn't even really news. pretty sure it was already known that From was hurt by Sony over Demons Souls release, which is why they went through BN for Dark Souls. Shuhei even admitted he was wrong about Demons Souls before Bloodborn came out. this is old beef, long since squashed.
