AC6 was the first Armored Core game I'd ever played and I enjoyed it a ton. It wasn't very hard to get into, as the controls and mechanics all felt very comfortable when I played on my PC with a keyboard and mouse.
I think my favorite thing about this game is how early on the optional tutorials encourage trying out different builds, so I know what playstyle I'll like BEFORE investing a bunch of time into it.
One of those games that feels totally complete. No mainstream bs. It is an action filled and narrative driven adveture that you won't find anywhere else. One of a kind masterpiece.
It's missing a lot of what the older AC games offer, but on its own merits, AC6 is a damn excellent game. I only got bored around the end of my 5th playthrough. That's a good sign
Absolutely look into the AC3 and 4 series, if you're curious about AC6's roots. You won't regret giving them a chance
