It just did not feel like a Star Trek movie. They could have made a movie called "Space Spies" with very little modification to the script.

Yes, then you live in one of the few European countries with Paramount+. Most of Europe has the equivalent called SkyShowtime and won’t get it for another month or so.

I guess it depends on what one expects … For me, the most important thing is a good story tie-in, a coherent narrative and bold characters with presence. And I’m hoping Georgiou will be recognizable.

I'd have been SHOCKED if this turned out good. Seeing promos the question that came to me was: if this didn't have the Star Trek name would anyone even look twice?

[Star WARS has been glorifying "bad guys" for years and this felt like "we can be bad too!" For Star Trek, Section 31 is bad guys.]

I'm admittedly unaware of most Section 31 media but like this: Writer David Weddle said many fans felt Section 31 betrayed the value system created by Gene Roddenberry..."Fans would get into these long ethical and political arguments, really struggling with issues like that, which was great to see."
