At this point I think that Im done with buying new counsels for video games, there's already an ass ton of decent older games that I haven't played and most of the new stuff coming out doesn't seem to be that innovative.

I'm still using My 360 games from forever ago. They're crazy cheap + I'm not downloading 50 Jillion gigs of crap just to play the damn things. Tekken still Tekkens, I don't need sum 14year old beating my a$$+ calling me out my name anyway....
I sound like my aunt who calls us fat without using the word "fat"🙄- my point still stands. There's over 2,000 games out there on disc. PSA: This one sucks a$$
I more or less just want Valve to spec bump the Steam Deck. My old, washed ass ain’t playing shit on an XBOX or a PlayStation. Just give me year old AA single player games on sale and some indie releases that would have ran just fine on a PS3 and I’m good.
I didn't buy a PS5 until like last year and it mostly plays PS4 games, but Nintendo has me with Zelda games. If you round a bit, that's basically all I've played on my Switch.
Sticking with the xbox ecosystem. The amount of games I have a lot of backwards compatible games going back to og xbox and my save files still work from the 360 games. Plus i can play a bunch at work on my phone because of cloud gaming
I was a console person up until a few years ago when I jumped to pc and haven't looked back. There's definitely still great stuff on the consoles, but the amount of stuff you have access to with a gaming pc is wild
I’ll probably get a PS6 whenever it arrives, but honestly, at 59 years old I don’t know how many more gaming years I have in me.
(And there always seem to be innovative games coming out that I hadn’t expected to be. E.g., in the past year I played Immortality and both AI: The Somnium Files games.

Tons of great replays in collections line Metal Gear and Final Fantasies on Switch.
For Christmas my kids are getting $75 retro consoles with $50 etsy game library cards. 8,000 games, 2600 thru Dreamcast.
That’s like 12 “new” pokemon games for them, they’ll flip.
