Her whole philosophy of "just asking" was always transparently narcissistic to the point of being sociopathic. She was always trying to get away with not paying people. She felt that just being in her presence or "exposure" was payment enough for their labor.
The fact that she could even say things like "he's done this before" while she was still sending young women to be around him (and not even warning them!) is endlessly galling.
TBH, I've thought Palmer was creepy AF ever since she wrote that poem about the Boston Marathon bomber, Jahar Tsarnaev. But I guess all along they were both creeps.
I have held AP in suspect disregard ever since she was outed for crowdsourcing local musicians to play w/her for that ever-exploitive currency, "exposure". Sadly unsurprised that she also exploited vulnerable young women (unpaid) and fed them to her creep husband. Ugh. Ugh. Ugh.
Annoyed to find out something called the "Women In Music Network" is scheduled to give her a *She Rocks* award in 12 days. 🙄 Hope they will rethink that one.

Parasocial relationships have a tiny possibility of being okay, as long as everyone involved recognizes the power dynamics at all times.
This clearly ignores all that.
