Have a meeting with them after class and let them know this! The way you become better is by telling them what they can do to help you learn better if not you can at least say you tried :3 ( gg for being a teacher it’s fun Fr Fr )
I would but its an online college so theres no one to meet with unfortunately and the people i can talk to arent the folks who set the curriculum. I am excited to get a teaching certificate, i used to teach preschool but cant anymore due to disability so being able to teach online will be amazing!

I have a theory that if a teacher is good they can make anyone interested in their subject
The problem with giving kids books to read or blocks of text to stare at is that we don't explain the reason why these things are interesting, but also a lot of books we get in school are very boring
