Obviously, but that still doesn't answer who creates these terms or determines the years. Just because someone is born in one year is "X" generation and someone born the next is "Y" generation doesn't fit with life itself - which is more fluid and not confined by a human created calendar system.

Oh well I totally agree, I think it’s a bit silly to even label generations, there has been millions of human generations, but if they are, I personally don’t really see the harm in keeping it comprehensive, people till this day don’t understand ‘baby boomer’, gen x, millennial, gen z, etc

Here's the issue... Nobody agrees on generation dates. There is no switch between yesterday and today for generations. It's a period of time, not a single date change over. Also, 15 years? Nobody can agree on it. Even at that, 2025 would be the last year for alpha since 2011-2025

Yeah because world happenings like wars and economy issues aren’t on a set timer, those are the things that tend to define generations and change their thinking (like how I’m a Millennial but due to my siblings all being Xennials born to Boomers it affected me a lot)
