Read the whole thread👇. And I agree with @davidfry.com. For future protests, people will think that enough people are attending and sit on their asses and eat bon bons like they did for the election. We need more people outraged to fight back.

I think the #NoKings events were great, and turnout is growing. Organizers estimate 5-6 million people attended, which is huge! But in the days since, some accounts are exaggerating turnout, making up numbers as high as 13 million, the latest unsourced number I've seen. This is dumb and dangerous.
