People don't want to admit it, but if you stopped liking new music after you were a teenager then you probably don't like music at all, you just like nostalgia.

I haven't stopped liking new music, I mostly don't hear it. I hate radio, (I hate the ads) and refuse to pay for apps. It's a combination of poor and cheap. Also, I never liked the poppier forms of music, I prefer things a little outside the mainstream. I'm 66, too old to feel bad about my choices.
My best friend since Jr High loves music as much if not more than me. But she switched to Spotify several years ago and her tastes have largely ossified for lack of fresh input - Spotify plays what it thinks she wants to hear.
