LOL. You are right but I think we all lost the plot on this one. The Nazi airhead is talking about "transgenic mouse",the genetically engineered mouse model used for research or as animal models of human diseases. Their relevant to being transgender is that both the Latin word "trans" in the name.

Everyone has hormones and studying the multifaceted effects of hormones on physiology is necessary and important. Instead of the smug condescension around him being obviously wrong we need to stand our ground and advocate for the importance of this science.

I think part of the reason why social narratives around transness took such a negative nose dive over the last decade was because there was never really a solid effort to stand by transness in ALL capacities.

Instead ,there was a willingness to simply relinquish support of trans topics in a piecewise manner. Let's say there are "transgender mice". So what? The research benefits us in ways in both the short- and long-term.
