Industry professionals do often peek at pitches during these events, if that's what you mean. Often if they "like" your pitch that means they want you to query them with it.

Since this is an author hype event, these Q and S distinctions on the end of the tag help them see works that are ready.

Q is for Querying and S is for On Submission. Some pitch events just use #S or #Q in the hashtags but for WSPit it's #WSPitQ and #WSPitS

Querying is querying agents typically, or small presses that take unagented submissions. On submission would be when you have an agent and are submitting to pubs
