It took 12 hours, but I downloaded the 4500 ebooks I've purchased from Amazon onto Calibre. Now I OWN them. Not just a license to the content, but the actual content I paid for.

From now on, I'll be purchasing through https://Bookshop.org, author websites, or some other retailer.
