I am not a lewdtuber but a parody and comedy vtuber. This is one of the reasons why I try to avoid the “sexual themes” label.
Ad revenue for me makes up roughly 10% of my twitch income and covers several bills by itself at about 200 dollars.
This is a big reason the gag boobs days are over.

Re: Twitch Ad Revenue
I turned off the Sexual Themes label and all lewd tags and it resulted in $4.56 in Ad Revenue for 1 stream vs the $0.96 for all of my Oct.
Officially, Twitch's response to me was basically no comment.
Content Labels are not for Community guidelines. They are for Advertisers.

It’s not for the users it’s for Twitch to find those who are technically crossing the boundaries and basically you ratting yourself out lol
Yeah, I’m turning that shit off.
And I will keep adjusting so I'm never forced to lose ad revenue.
I feel for those who have to adjust their content to avoid these Labels being slapped on their channel, myself included. I will never willingly label my stream on my own-- that is up to Twitch to do now.
ngl something about that rubs me the wrong way
I expected a hit, but not a decrease to literally 0.
Those days are over, but so are my days on twitter. We literally read every TOS update too.
