One hope I have in these dark days is that we will serve as a modern cautionary tale to other countries. I don't know how we're going to get through this but maybe more voters elsewhere will wake up & vote against their own far right extremists when they see what's happening here.
As a country that Trump hasn’t slapped tariffs on yet, we’re seriously on edge.
Meanwhile, our president is on trial for impeachment after staging a self-coup.
Not much. But enough that it’s just the done thing, even if folks are complaining about doing it or sometimes just drawing anatomical diagrams on their ballot paper. Plus you can grab a sausage or homemade slice at the fundraising stall outside in most places. Gotta eat sometime.
