I would agree that Harris failed to differentiate herself by simply following Biden's policies - more of the same.

90 million couldn't be bothered to vote (some were prevented) so there's that.

In 2016 Cambridge Analytica proved that leaning slightly on the scales in close elections is enough.

You're probably right, but I remember hearing or reading that the popular vote was very close, and that Harris actually had a negligible percentage more than Trump. Unfortunately, the popular vote is meaningless because of the electoral college.

I think Trump won the popular vote this time. He lost it in ‘16. It’s explainable in that urban areas are getting marginally bluer and the rest of the country is getting much redder. While the EC is ridiculous, Dems need to find a way to win using a 50 state strategy. This is unsustainable.

I would agree with you partially. The leftists didn’t vote so they would be a wild card compared to Biden in 2020. But how did we flip so many important seats blue, here in NC every single state government level role went blue down to the comptroller who was the first republican. It just seems weird

I do find that bizarre, I know nobody wants to believe it but I do imagine there were quite a few Trump only voters. And a lot of people split their ticket. I don’t think Trump needed to cheat to win. I think unfortunately an insane amount of Americans drank the kool aid.
