I think another aspect of the Situation was that I feel I at first ende up downplaying a lot of the talk about ace/aroace ppl being Super Different than other queers I remember seeing early on bc I genuinely enjoy connecting thru similarities/shared interests/solidarity than specific Identity stuff- - ThreadSky

Shared contexts bc early on when figuring my shit out, and also today, it's my lesbian friends who were most helpful to me, and we related to each other a lot in our experiences against hetworld... Which is why the later Tumblr divide btwn lesbians and aces/aroaces seemed so astroturfed
