So any furry artists, writers etc plan to go to US conventions to sell their wares.. You best make sure you have correct visas such as work visas before going as clearly this is the way the US is at now. A basic visa won't cut it anymore. My advice though is to not go to US fur cons for 4 years. - ThreadSky

Maybe longer if said administration that comes in doesn't repair this. It's not a safe place to go to right now at all. And yeah, sorry to those that run US cons but honestly, foreign attendees should think on not going for the foreseeable future.

I agree, I think it is completely off the table right now (considering the severe repercussions if anything went at all awry). Even doing a panel could be considered work, despite it not being for pay, and I think it's fair to not want to risk it.

Yeah, there's the risk of 10 year ban or lifetime ban which would screw a person way more at the moment. ICE can do that at any time for punishment and just throw you back on next flight home so you lose out on convention price and hotel costs etc.

It's not worth the risk, at all.

If you go to the Minneapolis convention, well, you want to be more of a hooligan outside the hotel, not less. You want to play with that vibe, not against it.

*Only valid in Minneapolis and St. Paul, U.S.A. Rest of America, ABSOLUTELY run away from that vibe if you are still willing to risk a trip.
