Going with the Wordsworth edition. When I think of Wuthering Heights, I think of the moors. It’s probably been 40 years since I read this book, but I can still see Heathcliff holding Catherine on the moor. That’s the image that stays with me.

Actually I think I agree! The other one doesn't give dark and gloomy. No idea why I have 2 copies though. I might have given one to my daughter at some point. Charity shop purchase I'm sure.

My family were all naval related.
I did an apprenticeship with the Exeter maritime museum and then went onto the largest boatbuilder in Europe (lured by money)

Is there any traditional boat building still going on these days, I remember the fictional storyline was about wooden boats being overtaken and craftsmanship being lost due to the change to modern materials and methods .
