I have actually never played that, and looking for a new game since I finished Atlas Fallen (which I loved and already miss playing). Is it worth the playthrough?

If you're into open world games which follow a main story (which have branching endings and tons of replay value) then you'll definitely find it worthwhile. I have thousands of hours in the game and still find new locations, side quests and small stories.
