It really is! It makes me smile all the time as I walk through the room which should be the dining room so I walk through it MANY times a day getting from the front of the house (living room) to the back of the house (kitchen & bathroom).

Love the breadbin C64. I played Showdown for the first time on one of my breadbins. Pretty much the same setup as you have in the pic with the 1701/2 1541 and a trusty C2N loading the game.

The C64 was likely my first love. When everyone was getting CareBears or playing DonkeyKong, the C64 somehow made its way to me. Complete with flight simulator and basic language. It was this, at 9 years old, when I realized that everyone else just wasn't paying attention.

My two favorite retro systems are the C64 (I’m partial to the C64c design style) and the Macintosh SE.

Growing up, the Mac SE was my 1st computer (salvaged it out of a school dumpster); and my first C64 came from a thrift store. This was all in the late 90s/Early 00s—b4 these were collectible.

I love my NABU Personal Computer. It was ahead of its time in terms of the design and the goals. Thanks to the alps switches, the keyboard is also a dream to type on. Props to everyone who works to keep them online and functional!
