one of the oddest things in the EDM scene is the ABSURD amount of ppl who beg you to release on [insert label] and won't care much otherwise?! like what difference does it make to you if i self-release it!? 😐

speaking of labels... i still enjoy working with them every once in a while but i gotta be honest: i haven't seen much difference in plays (youtube excluded) between label and self releases the past 2-3 years. keep in mind labels usually take 50%+ of the royalties so you'd need twice the streams
