In my mind, there is one good thing came out of this parade. I am not so worried about the military and the streets of America. It’s clear they do not want to be in the parade.

I mean, I guess? Active duty, regular army soldiers/troopers are always doing drill and ceremony. It’s how we form up for muster. It’s how get to and fro as a group. It’s how we carry ourselves when in uniform or on base. These basics never leave you unless you’re a slob.
