I can confirm this book is good. I'd go so far as great. In all seriousness though I really enjoyed it. Highly recommend.

Taking Flight is all about flight in the animal kingdom: what, how, why and when. Each of its 14 chapters is devoted to a flying thing (butterfly, bee, pterosaur, hummingbird, goose, you get the idea). It got shortlisted for a snazzy prize last year and is, so I’m told, “good”.
