Many vets have worked on and driven lots of the hardware of the military while we were in, we can point out many of their weak points, and they do have lots. Js
I've never been against the ownership of guns, but every time I've engaged in convo with people who are of the reich persuasion, my mentioning of "perhaps gun reform which requires education of firea-" is met with absolute backlash and strawmans of "bro if you take guns away people just stab you".
In a society which allows its people to own guns, you should arm yourself within your reason and budget. Full stop. If the time comes when you need to defend your freedom, you'll be glad you have what the enemy has.
We should not only be armed, we should know how to effectively use our weapons. A 3-hour firearms safety class and an hour a month at the range is not enough. Learn how to move tactically, provide cover, work with others in a combat situation, etc. This is also an excellent way to build community.
