To be fair, there is a bad security flaw in the older versions. They have been warning about this for a while.

Yeah I’m continually shocked by how fragile prebuilt GitHub Actions have been. Meanwhile I slap a good old bash script in there and it works forever

fwiw, github search `"actions/cache" owner:username` filtered by Code gets one pretty far
